Important healthy Tips


  • Never take a supplement unless you have ascertained if you have a deficiency and require it.
Vit D - helps you absorb calcium - recommended dosage often being around 1000iu at breakfast time.  ideailly with a fat soluble food - butter, eggs, salmon, fish oils etc.

Vit D even improves orgasim !  Now don't go rush out and buy it!  Get tested first.

 

  • DHA/EPA liquid fish oil can help reduce risk of breast cancer by around 32%  You require around 5mls with breakfast - make sure you buy a good quality.  Bargaining here is not wise.  You get what you pay for.




  • Drinks and foods should be room temp/hot not cold.  Cold beverages/food will interfere with optimum digestion.  Your body is warm inside, not cold.  If you do have say and ice cream once in a while or an ice cold drink don't beat yourself up about it, but be aware that your digestion works far more efficiently if you adhere to this rule.


  • We DO NOT get sufficient nutrition from a fresh food diet.  The soil is depleted and even some organically grown plants may still not provide optimum nutrition for your needs.  This can arise due to environmental pollutants in cities, small towns, car exhaust, houselhold chemicals and many other modern day elements along with stress that interferes with the ability to absorb optimum nutrition.  



Remember:  The old Herbalists always said - The Stomach is the Seat of Disease.
Get this working correctly, optimise digestion and many other health disorders fail to manifest.
  • Ideally always take calcium with magnesium - these minerals always appear in nature in a 2:1 ratio. They are better taken at least 1.5 to 2 hours away from any pharmaceutical medications
  
  • Teeth grinding - could be due to several reasons, but one I point out here that many people are not aware of is:  mineral imbalance !!  If you are taking thyroxine for your thyroid do make sure you doctor is assesing the dosage properly. Incorrect doseage can have impact on your calcium metabolism. Do not self prescribe here please - get tested - check the drug dosage - see a qualified naturopath. Your doctor is not trained in nutrition.  

  • More people with blood type O appear to be more susceptible to acquiring H pylori.  There are always exceptions but this is what some research as discovered.  Also, some of these people may have experienced a duodenal/stomach ulcer prior to the HB manifesting.  If you suspect this get a "breath test" 

Don't let minor syptoms become major syptoms.  I get many people presenting with totally chronic disorders and some expect to resolve with one bottle of herbs and some supplements.  SORRY, this is not how it works.  We all need to take back 100% responsibility for our health.
